Help Families Celebrate the HolidaysEach year, your generosity means happiness for hundreds of families who are experiencing violence in their homes. For children who have been affected by domestic violence, holiday joy is often more a wish than a reality. That’s why Hubbard House offers a variety of holiday donation opportunities. You can help create special memories for a family this holiday season! For more information call 354-0076 ext 652, email [email protected] or visit www.hubbardhouse.org/news-events.

Holiday Food Drive - Nov. 1 - Dec. 31 The emergency shelter provides groceries to families from which they are able to prepare three meals a day, in addition to snacks. You can help keep the Hubbard House pantry stocked with non-perishable food items.

Thanksgiving Baskets - Nov. 13 -16With your help, Hubbard House provides families with Thanksgiving food baskets that include turkeys (via gift cards) and all the fixings associated with this great American tradition.

Holiday Toy Store - Nov. 26 – Dec. 21Each year, Hubbard House sets up a temporary toy store which allows families to shop for their children with holiday toy donations. Through generous donations from the community, parents living in shelter or those who have recently left are given the opportunity to pick out gifts for their children.

Holiday Adopt-A-Family - Dec. 10 -14Businesses, individuals, and families can adopt a family and collectively fulfill the wishes of up to 40 families who have been affected by domestic violence. We will provide the adopters a family wish list which details the family members’ needs, wants, and toy requests.
