Cristina Moraru has made her mark as a seasoned quality professional, who leads, manages, and supports within Quality Operations at General Electric Aviation in Loves Park, Illinois. Cristina started her career in quality within the Automotive Industry. She further expanded her quality skill set working in Aviation for well-established, forward thinking companies, such as Woodward and General Electric Aviation.After spending over12 years in various quality functions within Design, Operations, Materials Engineering, and Quality, Cristina understands the criticality of collaboration, open mindset andadaptability to continuously improve and achieve operational excellence. Cristina holds a MBA from Rockford University in Rockford, Illinois and a Materials Engineering Degree from Transylvania University in Brasov, Romania. Currently she holds several ASQ Quality Certifications, which includes: ASQ CMQ/OE, ASQ CQE, and ASQ CQA. In her free time, Cristina enjoys spending time with her family, exploring nature, and new hiking trails.

participate in hands-on investigations and brain-bending challenges that relate to the jobs they do right here in the Rockford area. Local high

school teams are also on hand, showing off their romping robots. Don’t miss this eye-opening opportunity to see what engineers achieve, as

you make and take some amazing stuff.

The Quality Control Engineer position works directly with managers, analyzing manufacturing processes for improvement using various methods of testing and inspection. The Quality Engineer aims to ensure that the organization’s Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, ISO/IATF 16949 and regulatory/legal requirements.Experience and Qualifications:•Associate Degree; preferred Bachelor degree or 10 years experience in a similar role – preferably in a fastener industry.•Minimum Process Requirements•Corrective and preventive action (CAPA)•Root Cause Analysis (RCA•Preferred: ISO/IATF 16949 Training, First Responder, Problem Solving & Decision Making, OSHA trainingSkills:•Write and speak clearly and express thoughts while using proper language and writing in a professional manner that ensures a satisfactory comprehension by others.
