Assembly Well done to Mrs Gould, Mrs Drummond and the K/P/1 for running such an informative and entertaining Assembly on Thursday morning. Interschool Athletics Carnival Well done to all our students in representing our school at the annual Interschool Athletics Carnival. Congratulations go to Newdegate PS in winning the Overall Shield. Well done to Jack and Rose who won medallions. I was very proud of the students bringing home the Sportsmanship Shield for outstanding participation, behaviour and presentation. Faction Cross Country Congratulations to all students for your enthusiastic participation in the Faction Cross Country. I was very happy to see that every student from K-6 completed the course. The final score was very close with Hamersley faction winning by 1 point! Open Evening Thank you to all parents for your support of this evening. We hope you all enjoyed seeing your children’s learning journey and classroom. Staff Thank you to Mr Mann, Mrs Crane and Mrs Rankin for taking on extra time this term. We welcome a new staff member next term. Miss Alannah Turner will join our staff and will be in the 2/3/4 class. We all look forward to having Mr Murray back as our principal next term. School Development Day Term Four A reminder that the first Monday of Term Four, 14 October, is a School Development Day. Students return on Tuesday 15 October. Thank you to all parents and staff for their support this term. I hope you all stay safe and enjoy some great family time together over the holidays. Penne Metcalf
