THANK YOU, Camino Team—You Rock! What an amazing job this dedicated group did in organizing and carrying out our best Camino ever celebrating a spiritual connection to our patron, St.

James. They have been meeting for months to work out every detail to ensure that our walkers had a true

religious experience in a mini re-creation of the famous Camino Pilgrimage in Spain. Upon their

return, participants were rewarded with great food, entertainment, a photo booth, and two video

presentations.

My Dearest Parish Family, God be with us always. Praise, glory and thanks be to God for having blessed our Advance Celebration of the Feast of Santiago de Compostela. Our sincere gratitude to all that in the spirit of Discipleship-Stewardship gave of themselves for the success of the Camino last Saturday 22 July 2017. When the heart is full there are no exact words but let these pictures express the blessedness of the day. God bless and take care. Love and prayers,

Fr. Thomas

Padre Thomas.

(Behind Coco’s) Meet there at 11:00am.

RCIA/RICA The process of welcome and education in the Catholic Christian tradition is called the Order of the Catechumenate. The Order of the Catechumen-ate dates to the days immedi-ately after the death of Christ.

It’s a process whereby unbaptized and those bap-tized in another Christian tradition come to know, understand and embrace the Catholic faith. Many know and recognize this process as the RCIA pro-gram (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults). Are you aware we also have an adapted RCIA program for children grades 1 through 12? We offer the adult process in either English or Spanish and the Chil-dren’s process is bi-lingual. Now would be an ideal time to begin a conversation with that friend, family member or lapsed Catholic, inviting that person to “come and see” nothing more. You will find pamphlets in the back of the Church in a box marked RCIA. Take one read it and share it with that person who is most on your heart. Pope Francis daily, by his actions, reminds the world, that by our actions Christians model the ris-en Christ. Warmly invite others to “come and see” the original Christian faith, Catholicism. Any questions please call 949-951-8599 ext. 231

Zumba Class

Our next Zumba Class will be on Monday, July 31st from 5:30pm to 6:30pm in Rooms J and K in the Parish Hall. This class is for adults 18 years and older, led by

parishioner and Zumba Instructor, Maria Rodriguez . To attend, we ask a free-will donation at each class that will go to the parish. To contact Maria, please email her at: [email protected].

Prayer Shawls Through the kindness of our Spanish Crochet Group ,we are now able to distribute Prayer Shawls among those who are critically ill and for those who need a tangible sign of comfort. These were knitted while prayers were being said for those who will receive and use them.

Prayer Shawls can be given to those undergoing medical procedures or treatments; as a comfort after a loss or in times of stress. The gift of a prayer shawl enables the re-cipient to be surrounded by prayer, and is a tangible re-minder of God’s care and His unfailing and unconditional love, encouragement and inspiration; they feel like a warm hug and are a source of solace.

Prayer Shawls will be blessed and distributed for the first time in our parish during the Mass with the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick. It will be on August 12th at the 8:00 am Mass. Please contact the Parish Reception Office on how to make a request to be a recipient of these shawls or request them for someone you know. We shall limit it to no more than the first ten people who sign up.
