As we enter our fifth month of this pandemic we are mindful of the blessings that God has blessed us with. We, as a church, has continued to be a blessing to others, even in these uncertain times. God has blessed us, so we can bless others. Starting in May we have teamed up with the Legacy Center to distrib-ute Food Boxes on every Wednesday. Two drive thru COVID-19 testing, sponsored by Huntsville Hospital, have been done at our church and we con-tinue to investigate other way we can reach out to the community. While we are not able to assemble with-in the four walls of our church building for worship, Bible study, Sunday school and other functions, we are blessed to be able to still worship, fellowship, study God’s word and carry out the business of the church via livestream, Zoom, conference calls, our church webpage, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Social media is in an up row spreading concerns about the Corona Virus. The World is in a big panic. People are dying, people are crying, people are losing jobs, homes, personal possessions, and the list goes on and on.

What are we as Christians doing? Check your faith. Our God has the situation at hand and has de-clared to us that he will never leave us nor forsake us. (Deut. 31:6)

The wrath of God is upon the World. Death and destruction are all over. Just Christians has hope. Our God has proclaimed; If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, seek his face and turn from their evil ways, that he will hear their cry and heal their land. (2 Chronicle 7:14)

When we do this, we will start "Making a Differ-ence in the World".

The solution for many of today problems

can be found in the Holy Bible. The main con-cern today is about the pandemic. If you have are knowledgeable about God’s word from 2 Chronicle 7:14 we would know the answer to what is happening.

God assures us through Luke 12:22-32 of what he will do about the situation. When we put our faith in God and God alone then we will start “Making a Difference in the World”. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Congratulations to our member, Violet Ed-wards, who was elected as the Madison County District Six Commissioner. Her election to this office was history making, as she is the first African American female to be elected to serve on the Madison County Commission. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Brother Claude Conerly passed on July 5,

2020. He joined Progressive Union on De-cember 2, 2018. Funeral services were held in his hometown of Tylertown, Mississippi. Within Progressive Union he survived by his wife Katherine.
