BUILDING THE BODY PROJECT
A project of systemic proportions!
The Body
The body is made up of 12 different, interlinking systems – each one performs a particular task, but they are all dependent on each other. Some, such as the circulatory system, spread throughout the body. Others, such as the digestive system, are mainly in one place.
The Big Questions:
What is your organ system? What does it do? How does it work? Can you live without it? Why or why not?
How You’ll Present
A PowerPoint or Prezi! If you have a better idea, feel free to talk about it with Ms. Walker or Ms. Rushton (a different presentation method MUST be approved)
What You Need
An introduction All the details! A conclusion A reference page (we’ll go over this!) Lots of (appropriate) images!
Now, who’s doing what?!?!
Digestive SystemZach and Cody
The digestive system breaks down food into chemicals that the body can absorb and use for fuel and materials, and then removes the rest as waste. It includes the stomach, intestines, and anus.
