From the moment data is scanned, users may send it to any destination they choose, or distribute it to multiple recipients with a single operation. Data may be sent directly to networked PCs throughout the office, saved to public or private folders inside the bizhub HDD, e-mailed to addresses outside the office, or any combination of these at once. In addition, with the XPS data format, users can compress scans to ensure easy data transmission and storage.

In addition to traditional high-speed fax functions, the office network infrastructure can be used for fax transmission, enabling greater speed at a much lower cost. With Internet and IP address fax, data is sent via the Internet or local servers, eliminating transmission costs. PC fax allows users to send data directly from their PCs, and with TSI Routing incoming transmissions can be forwarded to the recipient’s PC or HDD Box.

bizhub 501 takes centre stage with a radically new design. Incorporating new functional elements and refinements to provide complete access, blended with sleek styling that complements your office interior, the new bizhub is built to impress.

bizhub has always been synonymous with productivity, and the bizhub 501 delivers the same level of output that users have come to depend on. With high-speed processing that handles multiple complex jobs with ease and print quality that meets even demanding needs, bizhub will never make you compromise.

The Quality You Expect from bizhub

The lower fixing temperature of Simitri toner greatly reduces energy consumption compared to conventional fixing. In addition, the Low Power and Sleep modes use significantly less power, resulting in lower energy costs and less waste.

Because the global environment is just as important as the office environment, Konica Minolta is committed to minimising the environmental impact of our devices on all fronts. The bizhub 501 is the ideal choice for offices that wish to reduce waste and emissions without trading performance.

Work Green

Polymerised toner produces fewer emissions than pulverised toner, with a total reduction of up to 40% for NOx, SOx and CO2. In addition, the production of every bizhub device has been optimised to reduce overall emissions.

The bizhub 501 complies with the International Energy Star Program’s stringent guidelines for reduced energy consumption and improved efficiency.

RoHS (Reduction of Hazardous Substances) rules prohibit certain materials from being used during the production of electrical and electronic components. Konica Minolta will comply with RoHS guidelines before the EU deadline by refraining from the use of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium PBB and PBDE.

The bizhub 501 is currently undergoing certification for Blue Angel (BAM2004) guidelines for efficiency and environmental responsibility.

The bizhub 501 will be fully compliant with WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) regulations, ensuring that all parts and components are properly disposed of or recycled.

The new bizhub machines features 360-degree seamless construction, with high-visibility LEDs, contrasting black and white panels, and fully contained cables and connectors. Appropriate for any location in the office, bizhub maximises productivity while adding to the interior decor.

In addition to two 500-sheet universal trays and a 150 bypass

trays, optional paper trays provide a maximum capacity of

5,650 sheets, more than enough for even the biggest jobs.

Paper and toner can both be changed without interrupting

output, bringing downtime to a minimum.

Using the convenient ADF allows high-speed single-sided or

double-sided scanning at up to 70opm. Different-size documents

can even be mixed together, and the precision feeding mechanism
