tickets are now available for their next play, “Dogsbreath Devereaux, The Dastardly Doctor.” It is an old time melodrama with booing and hissing fun for the audience. In this play, Dogsbreath Devereaux, M.D., plots to wed and do away with the wealthy widow Lotta Cash so he can inherit her fortune and her late husband’s clinic. He enlists the aid of the nasty nurse, Hilda Hatchet, and promises to marry her once he disposes of Lotta. Problems arise when the insanely jealous Hilda catches Dogsbreath flirting with Wendy March, the heroine of the show. It seems only the hero, Dr. Phil Good, can save Wendy and the unsuspecting Lotta Cash from certain death.

Tickets are $6.00 and are available for sale at the following places in Shell Knob: the Shell Knob Chamber of Commerce, Treasures, Service #1 Credit

Union, United Methodist Church, and the Central Crossing Senior Center. In Cassville, tickets are available at the Barry County Advertiser.

The play will be held at the United Methodist Church on YY in Shell Knob. The Saturday, June 21, performances are at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. The Sunday, June

22, performance is at 2 p.m., and there is no Sunday evening performance. The Missouri Arts Council has partially funded this production.
