1. Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for the Group 'C' post of Civilian Motor Driver (OrdinaryGrade) to reach Officer Commanding 757 (I) TPT PL ASC (CIV GT) COLABA MUMBAlby registered or ordinarypostwithin 21 days(28 days in case of candidates belonging to Andaman and Nicobar Island and Lakshadweep) from thedate of publication of this advertisement. The first date of publication of this advertisement in Employment News will betaken into account for calculation of 21 /28 days including Sunday and Holiday respectively. The name of post, scale ofpay, educational qualification, age limit ,number of vacancies and other requirements are as under:-

2. The recruitment process can be cancelled/suspendedlterminated by Officer Commandin~ 757(1) Tpt PI ASC(Civ GT) Colaba Mumbai at any stage and his decision in this regard is final and no appeal will be entertained.

3. Candidate fulfillingabove conditions must submit their applications as per the. sample form: given in Appx 'A' .Theapplication form must be affixed with the candidates passport size photographs with two extra passport size photographsduly attested with self address written on the reverse side on the photographs and, a self addressed Envelope with Rs.25/- postage stamp duly affixed for forwarding of call letter. 7. Candidates who apply against OBC category shall attach and produce "Other backward Class" certificateapplicable for Central Government service and not the "Backward Class" Certificate, duly signed by the appropriateauthority.

8. Original Documents.Candidates are required to bring original documents at the time of testlinterview failingwhich they shall not be permitted to appear in the test/ interview.

9. Please note that incomplete application without affixing photograph or without enclosing attested copies ofcertificate as mentioned above or if applicant is found overage/underage on last date of receipt of application as indicatedabove will be rejected and candidate will not be entertained for tesUinterview. Candidate not in receipt of call letter shouldpresume that their applications were incomplete/not meeting the Qualitative requirement or not found eligible. Nocorrespondence in this regard will be entertained.

10. Selection Procedure.

(a) Physical and Endurance tests is to be decided by the Board of Officers (BOO)(b ) Driving test will be conducted in respect of candidate qualifying the physical/endurance tests asdecided by the BOO.(c) Written test and interview will be conducted in respect of candidates qualifying the Driving test andphysical/endurance tests as decided by the BOO.

11. Syllabus for Written TestWritten test objective type will be taken as decided by BOO on the topic viz-GeneralIntelligence and Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English andGeneral Awareness, Traffic rule's & regulations andthere will be negative marking for each wrong answer. •

12. Medium of writing in application form and test etc will be in Hindi or in English. Candidate will be selected on thebasis of final merit list.

13. Own Risk. Candidates will appear form physical/endurance test at their own. will/risk. Any injury/accident ifsustained by the candidates during test, authorities will not be responsible to pay any compensation.

14. Probation Period .The posts are temporary but likely to be permanent under Ministry of Defence subject toindividual completing two years probation successfully. .,

15. Candidates after selection will be subject to All India Service Liability Rules, Field Service l.iability Rules andArmy Act 1950.

16. No TAlDA will be admissible to the candidate for appearing the test/interview, Candidate will have to make theirown arrangement of move, boardingllodging as it may take 2 to 3 days time. .'.17. Disqualification. No person shall be eligible for appointment to the said posts in'case of following :-.

(a) who has two spouses or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; 'or(b) Who having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person.

..18. Candidate must ensure no column is left ~Iank or wrongly filled and any over writing is not allowed in theapplication. Application not filled correctly is likely to be rejected and onus of the rejection would be on the candidatehimself. The unit administration will not entertain any claim after such rejection. The 'application format must be A4 sizepapers. ';

19. Short Listing.lf the number of candidates fulfilling the requisite minimum educational qualifications, age, etc. istoo large, considering the number of posts to be filled up, further screening will be done to limit'the number of candidatesto those with higher percentage of marks in the prescribed minimum educational qualification without giving anyweightage to higher qualifleations, if possessed by the candidates. Since the applications may be short-listed, merefulfillment of essential qualifications and experience does not vest any (ignt in a candidate for being called for.Testsllnterview. All applications received will be scrutinized screened 'and Selection CcmrnitteesBoard of Officers willorganize a written test and skilled test for shortlisted candidates. to be called for test/interview. This unit /Board ofOfficersreserves the right to call for TesUlnterview only those candidates whoin its opinion.are likely to be suitable and will notentertain any correspondence in this regard. .

20. Select Panel. A select panel equal to the number of vacancies notified and based on the performance ofcandidates in interview will be drawn up. All the candidates on the select panel will be offered an appointment subject tomedical fitness test, Police verification, Education and Caste certificate verification before actual appointments. Thereserve panel will be operated strictly as per merit only in case a candidate from select panel refuses appointment or isdisqualified. The reserve panel will not be operated for any subsequent recruitment i.e. additional vacancies in the sameyear or next.

21. Date and Time for Test/Interview. Separate date and time for interview will be intimated later on to candidatesfor interview through call letter, whose application and particulars are found to be correct and in order. Merely fulfilling thebasic essential qualifying requirements does not automatically entitle a person for test and interview.

22. Call letter for Test/Interview. All candidates must be in possession of call letter issued by this office forinterview/final test.

23. .Rejection. The following act/omissions would render a candidate/application disqualified:-

(a) Furnishing of false, inaccurate or tampered information.(b) Obtaining support for his candidature through unfair means.(c) Impersonation by any other person.(d) Submitting fabricated documents.(e) Making statements which are incorrect or false suppressing material information.(f) Resorting to any other irregular or improper means in connection with his candidature for the selection.(g) Improper filling of applications. I

(h) More than one application submitted by the candidate.(J) Any other reason as observed by the Board of Officers.

24. Any dispute with regard to the recruitment will be subject to the Court having jurisdiction in'.Mumbai only.
