ABOUT FDPThe purpose of this FDP is to help the participants to better learn about basic function of writing tools using LaTeX software and other modern tools. This would enable the participant faculty to disseminate the same to the students so as to enable them to produce scientifically crafted documents especially to PG and Research Scholar Students for writing their thesis work. This will also enable the scientist and engineers to use LaTeX software to give better solutions to their scientific work. The broad topics of the coverage are:

Importance of Scientific and Technical Writing Introduction to LaTeX software and editors Document classes, and writing mathematical expressions using LaTeX Use of floats in LaTeX Writing thesis using LaTeX Inserting and writing bibliography/references in LaTeX Writing books, reports and technical notes using LaTeX Writing and editing journal articles using LaTeX Introduction to Snag IT and Photoshop/Corel Draw for producing images/block

ABOUT SANJAY GHODAWAT UNIVERSITY

The Sanjay Ghodawat University (SGU) is established in the Academic Year 2017-18. It is established as a State Private University under Govt. of Maharashtra Act No. XL of 2017 dated 3rd May 2017, with the approval of the UGC and the state Government. Academic Council of SGU governs the rules and regulations for the smooth conduct of academic programs with the approval of Governing Council of SGU, which shall continuously monitor the programs and makes appropriate amendments in the rules and regulations as per requirements whenever required. Various committees constituted as per the act will recommend the curriculum, addition/deletion of courses, assessment system, discipline and conduct of students to AC, to ensure that the quality of upgradation and the relevance of the program are maintained to meet the present changes that are taking place at different levels of higher education system. SGU has constituted its own Academic Council, Academic Advisory Committee, Finance Committee, Library committee, Department under Graduate Committee, Class Committee, Evaluation Committee, Marks Finalization Committee, Mal-Practice Committee, Grievance Redressal Committee, Standing Disciplinary Action Committee, and Hostel Committee etc. All these committees ensure that the university functions as per the norms laid down by the UGC / State Government and such other regulatory bodies."For the true measure of giving is giving without measure." ABOUT ELECTRONICS & ICT ACADEMY IIITDM JABALPUR

Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India has instituted seven Electronics and ICT Academies with one academy at PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur with the primary objective preparing manpower for two important missions- 'Digital India' and 'Make in India'. The Academy aims at the design and implementation of scalable training programs in niche areas of Electronics and ICT for the development of required knowledge base, skills and tools to unleash the talent of Indian population. The Academy at PDPM IIITDMJ, runs high quality specialized courses for faculty, students and unemployed graduates.
