Did you know!
The name Round Table was taken from a
speech made to the British Industries Fair in
1927 by the then Prince of Wales:
'The young business and professional men of
this country must get together round the table,
adopt methods that have proved so sound in
the past, adapt them to the changing needs of
the times and wherever possible, improve
them'. The motto "Adopt, Adapt, Improve" has
remained ever since. So it looks like the Prince
of Wales said it first in 1927!
Edward "David", the Duke of Windsor in 1945
Roundtable expects its members
openness and interest compared to
traditional and new ideas and
developments in accordance with the
motto "adopt, adapt, improve". The
motto is from a speech by the Prince of
Wales , who in 1927 with these words
encouraged young men to take proven
solutions and to the changed
conditions of the present and the future
towards developing and improving.
