Tangent Club International is an international umbrella association

of Tangent Clubs worldwide. The Inauguration of Tangent Club International took place on the 26th of October 2013. The Charter of Tangent Club International will take place on the 3rd of May 2014. Founder members to be Tangent Denmark, Tangent Great Britain, Tangent Norway and Tangent Sweden. Tangent is the natural continuation of Ladies Circle - and like Ladies Circle, Tangent Club comes from Great Britain. A Tangent is a geometric shape - a straight line tangent to the circle - the figure is the symbol for our purposes which are:

To promote and strengthen international friendships established through Ladies Circle International To promote, encourage and support new international friendships between Tangent Clubs worldwide To reasonably assist LCI wherever and whenever called upon To work side-by-side with Club 41 International To be non-political and non-sectarian

Dear International friends,

I am extremely pleased to announce you that 20

years passed since the Charter Meeting of the

Romanian 41Club in Brasov, Romania.

In order to celebrate this event, our Club will be

organising a big festival at which members of the

41 International and 41 Romania are invited.

Besides this, we would like to invite members of

each of 41 Clubs with the number 1, that is why we

kindly ask you to send us the contact addresses of

these clubs in your association so that we may

send them directly an invitation-programme.

The aim of this message is to ask you to write in

your agenda the following data 13th -16th March,

Brasov –Romania for the great meeting.

Therefore, we keep in touch with you for new

details about this 20th Anniversary.

Did you know!

The name Round Table was taken from a

speech made to the British Industries Fair in

1927 by the then Prince of Wales:

'The young business and professional men of

this country must get together round the table,

adopt methods that have proved so sound in

the past, adapt them to the changing needs of

the times and wherever possible, improve

them'. The motto "Adopt, Adapt, Improve" has

remained ever since. So it looks like the Prince

of Wales said it first in 1927!

Roundtable expects its members

openness and interest compared to

traditional and new ideas and

developments in accordance with the

motto "adopt, adapt, improve". The

motto is from a speech by the Prince of

Wales , who in 1927 with these words

encouraged young men to take proven

conditions of the present and the future

towards developing and improving.
