24 Hours Akhand Kiirtana
24 hour Akhanda Kiirtan programme was done at the village Kurmidih starting at 11 am on 2nd
November 2016 and continued till 11 AM of 3rd November. Many villagers participated and made
the programme successful. Anandanagar VSS Unit managed the food distribution through Food

Celebrating 25th Anniversary of Acarya Asimananda Avadhuta Memorial
Football Tournament
On 5th and 6th November this Football Tournament was organized by SSAC, Anandanagar. Eight
teams from different districts of West Bengal and Jharkhand States participated. Winner was
NSC Lipijara, Rajrappa of Ramgarh District of Jharkhand State and runner was AK Jaota Udaypur
of Purulia District of West Bengal.
Visit of Margii family from Vadodara, Gujrat
On 6th and 7th November a Margii family from Barodara of Gujarat visited Anandanagar. They visited
archeological places of Anandanagar. They also enjoyed AcaryaAsimanandaAvadhuta Memorial Football
Tournament.

Naming ceremony at Baba's Memorial
Naming ceremony was held at Baba’s Memorial building on 7th November for the grandson of
Premchand Gorain, a Chimu village Margii as per AnandaMarga Caryacarya. Ac
Kalyaneshvarananda Avadhuta had presided the ceremony. On this occasion 3 hour
AkhandaKiirtan and NarayanaSeva were done.

Construction of Boundary Wall Matr Sneha Unit
Boundary wall construction is going on for Matri Sneha Unit, Shyampur, Anandanagar of Women
Welfare Department.

Written test held for Skill Development Training of Local Youths
On 20th November written examination for skill development training for the local youths in
renowned industries like IFB automotive private Ltd, Indo US MIM Techno Pvt. Ltd, Rane Engine
valve etc was held at Ananda Marga High School, Anandanagar. 157 youths attended. This
program was organised by Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha, Anandanagar. This is a Central
Government scheme under National Employment Enhance Mission (NEEM).
Navánna Festival
On 20th November 2016 there was Navanna Festival by Chitmu No. 2 Unit as per Ananda Marga
Caryacarya. On that occasion 3 hour Akhanda Kiirtan was held. Ac Mohanananda Avt explained
the importance of this festival.

Annual Cultural Pragramme at Bakul Bitan
Annual Cultural Program was held at Bakul Bitan, Pundag by Ananda Marga Primary School
students of Madhya Anandanagar on 20th November 2016.

Three Hours Akhanda Kiirtana at Baba's Memorial
On 20th November 2016, there was monthly 3 hour Akhanda Kiirtan followed by Narayana Seva
at Baba’s Memorial.
Construction of Historical place at Anandanagar
Jagat Guru Shrii Shrii Ananda Murtijii, our beloved BÁBÁ, came to Ananda Nagar on the 21st
Oct, 1979 after His release from the Patna Jail. A Dharma Maha Cakra (Spiritual Congregation
headed by Him) was held on 22nd October, 1979 on this ground. He delivered His whole
discourse "Ananda Nagar is the Beacon Light of the Universe" and blessed His devotees with the
'Barabhaya Mudra" (His special divine posture).
BÁBÁ was so gracious that He made it open DMC which never took place after this.
In the month of January, 1967, BÁBÁ witnessed Cho-Dance (one type of martial dance) with His
devotees for four hours continuously on this ground. The artists were from nearby Tatuara
village.

As such this place has become very divine and historical place to all Ananda margiis. To
memorize this incidence a Sadhana Piitha (Meditation place) is being constructed.
