visited Ananda Nagar on 28thFebruary and 1stMarch 2019. It was their scheduled Industrial visit.

Margiis from Italy and Kolkata visited Ananda Nagar from 28th February to 6th March. They visited

Uma Nivas, Madhu Murcchana Baba quarters, Kaosikii Hostel and other places.

Students of Art School at Ananda Nagar created "Art in Nature" which was exhibited on 3rd March at Ananda Marga High School.

IRSS (Inspection Review Report Structural Solidarity) held on 3.3.2019 at Ananda Marga Primary

School, at Talmu, Ananda Nagar.

Inspection of General Secretary, Kolkata

General Secretary of Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha, Kolkata inspected the boundary wall constructed by Farm Department at Pracaraka Dihi, Baro Malka of Ananda Nagar on 3rd March.

Shiva Caturdashii observed

On 4.3.2019 Shiva Caturdashii was observed at on Dimdiha hill where Baba's Quarters was

demolished by communist goons in 1990. There was collective meditation, Acarya Muktananda

Avadhuta, Acarya Gurudattananda Avadhuta explained the importance of the day. Visitors from

Italy and Kalyani from Nadia District were present. They also visited Navacakra cave and the new

Dimdiha-Ghagra check dam.

Dadhicii Divas observed

"5th March Dadhiicis Divas" was observed at Dadhiici Hill of Ananda Nagar. On this occasion

three hours Akhanda Kiirtana was held at General Farm House followed by a procession to

Dadhiici Hill and offering of flowers to the Dadhiicis. There was collective meditation and Oath

taking lead by Dada Mohanananda Avadhuta. Dada and a local margii Radhu Paramanik were

eye witness to the incident narrated their story of 5th March of 1967.

Marriage ceremony as per Ananda Marga Carya Carya On 7th March Marriage was ceremony held at Chitmu Central Jagriti of Chitmu village of Ananda Nagar as per Ananda Marga Carya carya. The bride was Srimati Mamata Garain and the bridegroom was Sri Samar Garain.

at Ananda Nagar ended successfully on 10.3.2019. A processionwas held on the last day.

Monthly 24hours Akhanda Baba Nam Kevalam Kiirtana was held at Chitmu Central Jagriti on 9th and 10th March with collective meditation, Tattva Sabha and followed by collective lunch.

Tourists visit Ananda Nagar

Ananda Nagar is becoming more popular for visitors from near and far. Now visitors came from

Kolkata, Assam, Hyderabad. They visited from 15th March to 19th March.

School Uniformsand Education kits distribution

A group of well-wishers from Kolkata visited Ananda Nagar on 17th &18th March. They contributed

the expenses of school uniforms and snack packets to the economically challenged village

students of Ananda Nagar.72 students received also copy-books, shoes and snack packets.

Page 11 Vasanta Utsav Spring Festival

On 21st March "Vasanta Utsav"- Spring Festival was observed at Dadhiici Hostel, Ananda Nagar

as per Ananda Marga Caryacarya. Three hours Akhanda Kiirtana, collective meditation and

collective lunch were held. Ac Mohanananda Avadhuta dada and Ac Muktananda Avadhuta

dada explained the importance of the day. The colour was offered to Baba's Pratikriti by singing

Prabhat Samgiita of this occasion. This offering of colours to Baba’s Pratikrtiti was sequentially

done by margii sisters, Children, margii brothers and dadas respectively and after that colour was

given to the seniors who blessed youngsters.

Visit of Deputy Director of CRT, West Bengal

On 22.3.2019 Deputy Director of Child Rights and Trafficking (CRT)a Social Welfare Department

of West Bengal Government visited Ananda Nagar for inspecting Ananda Marga Children's Home

for boys and girls. They were happy to see our activities in maintaining the homes.

Page 12 Children’s Spiritual Camp held

On 21st to 23rd March 2019 Children's Spiritual Camp was held at Ananda Marga College campus. The programme included Vasanta Utsav followed by ‘know your nature’. On the first day they visited Parivesh Sambardhan Kanan (PASAKA) for knowing the plants, rocks, birds, leaves, flowers, fruits, trees, exploring the cave, hillock, dam etc and learn the plants and shrubs useful for first-aid and evening was blissful with vibrating Kiirtan and meditation. 2nd day they started with Guru Sakash, Pancajanya, Dhvaja Vandana, learning Prabhat Samgiita. In the afternoon they visited Dadhiici Hill, sharing Baba story for children followed by meditation and Gurupuja. 3rd day they visited Belamu hill, Asthi hill, MG Quarter Madhu Murcchana, Uma Nivas, Navacakra cave, Dead Volcano, Dimdiha-Ghagra check dam. Participants came from Delhi, Tatanagar, Odisha, Bokaro, North Bengal, Medinipur, Bankura and Kolkata.

The parents and children were very much pleased and agreed to meet again from 9 to 13.10.19 for similar programmes. This program was organized by Dada Devatmananda Avadhuta.

Page 13 New Ananda Marga Relief Centre

On 31st March Ananda Marga Relief Centre was inaugurated at Chitmu village of Ananda Nagar.

Before inauguration there was collective meditation, followed by medical camp and Narayan

seva. Mantua Gorain and Nandalal Gorain of Chitmu organized this programme.
