2018 WOMEN IN SUPER CMSF SCHOLARSHIP ABOUT WIS seeks to provide education, training and support to women in the superannuation industry, and to develop and broaden women’s business, professional and personal networks. As such, WIS is offering one scholarship worth $4,500 which covers registration both to the conference and networking events, flights and accommodation during the conference. Applications are encouraged from women of any level of seniority or experience who would benefit from the conference and would not otherwise be able to attend. Held annually, CMSF is the premier idea sharing and networking event for Australia’s $700 billion not-for-profit superannuation sector. Exploring some of the pressing issues facing the industry, the conference program provides valuable insights on investment, policy, governance, marketing, communications, insurance, compliance, trustee director issues, administration and business development. Attendees are able to participate in workshops and take part in masterclasses and networking events. The conference also offers delegates the opportunity to engage with industry members as well as attend discussions with high-level speakers both in and out of the superannuation sector, from government to industry. FAQs
What will the selection panel be looking for? The panel will be looking for applicants who meet the eligibility criteria and best respond to the questions outlined in the application form.
Who is on the selection panel? The panel will include the Chair of the WIS National Professional Development Committee, a representative from AIST and one WIS member holding a senior position within the industry.
Will I have to attend an interview? No. The panel will consider and make their decision based on written applications only.
How do I access the money? WIS will directly pay the conference registration fee, and provide the recipient with economy
class travel to and from Brisbane.
