TuRbOCHARgEd pERfORmAnCE. Trax has the power you need with a standard 138-horsepower ECOTEC® 1.4L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. This engine features Variable Valve Timing, which helps Trax achieve a highway fuel consumption rating of just 6.9 L/100 km.1

innOVATiVE TECHnOLOgy. Trax was designed with a class-leading safety package that includes 10 standard airbags,3 StabiliTrak® Electronic Stability Control System, traction control and Hill Start Assist, which holds the vehicle stationary for up to two seconds after the brake is released to give you time to accelerate before rolling backward.

siX-spEEd TRAnsmissiOns. A smooth-shifting 6-speed automatic transmission is standard on LT and LTZ models. You can also manage your own shift points with the Driver Shift Control feature, or take full command with the slick-shifting 6-speed manual transmission on LS models.2

fOuR-sEAsOn CApAbiLiTy. For added security, the available all-wheel drive (AWD) system engages automatically when accelerating from a standing start and shifts to FWD mode at speeds above 5 km/h (3 mph) when the system detects there is no wheel slip, maximizing efficiency.
