Student Activities Committee
Objectives1.Understand the needs of student members in region and create student activities to engage them for better future2.Increase student membership in growing countries and collaborate with GOLD for successful transition of students3.Increase interaction between Region to Sections ad Sections to Student branches
Projects / Tasks1.Coordinate regular award/recognition activities2.Establish sub-region wide student networks and increase the collaboration between Region->Section & Section->SBs3.Encourage student members in inactive/being activated countries as well as providing up-to-date information of MGA-SAC and region

Project description: GINI has done great work over past five years and the activities conducted by GINI will be integrated into Student Activities by leveraging student networks.How does this project help you meet your committee’s objectives?: Bottom-up network construction fits student activities including better understanding of IEEE membership value as well as recruiting new members.Budget breakdown:– Grants / activities within sections $2,000– Re-activating and forming new SBs $1,000– New Projects to increase retention $1,600
