It doesn’t matter if you’re boating the rocky steep rivers of the East or the huge wide open rivers of the West now is the time to go out and get some AIRE.

We are an Idaho based company dedicated to building expedition quality rafts, catarafts, inflatable kayaks and all the accessories you’ll need to serve your water passion. Inside this catalog we’ve dedicated over 30 pages to products and photos that hopefully will fuel your passion even more. We’ve got big boats for multi-day trippers, sporty designs for you water fall huckers and great choices if you want to lay back relax and watch a bird or two from a stable flat water boat. We understand that your passion is about the water and about the experience not your gear so we use only the finest materials and all welded construction.

We have some designs that have not really changed in nearly 25 years but we also have some great new products for 2013. Our inflatable sea kayak, the Sea Tiger, has a redesigned bow and stern so it cuts through the water better and we added a new Keder ruder system that is easy to adjust along the length of the kayak. Basic river tubes are becoming more popular and we have a real winner with an octagon shape that is comfortable and perfect for quick and lazy water fixes. Our new Vision dry bag line features large see though panels so you can easily find exactly what you’re looking for and they come in three handy sizes.

If there is one thing we understand at AIRE it is a passion for the water. Our work week is dedicated to building boats, selling boats, shipping boats all over the world and at the end of day all we want to do is go boating…Just like you.

1. Our 10 year, no-fault warranty – the BEST in the business. We are so confident in our boats that we back them up with the best warranty in the paddlesports industry. Our warranty covers all the labor and material costs of fixing your boat, even when the damage happens off the river. If you have a problem, send your boat to AIRE and we will fix it for free within 10 years of the original purchase date. If it’s our fault, we’ll pay the return shipping. (See details on p. 33)

2. Proudly made in the USAAll AIRE branded boats are made right here in Meridian, Idaho, USA. Each AIRE boat is designed and produced to live up to the standards of whitewater enthusiasts which includes our team here at AIRE. We build boats, package boats, sell boats, ship boats and at the end of the day, we get out on the water and go boating.

3. Bomber quality We test our fabric, parts and construction for every boat we make and with 24 years of boat building experience we have learned what to expect out of our equipment and materials. We wouldn’t offer a 10 year, no fault warranty if we didn’t believe in our quality.

4. Built to performAt standard operating pressure, our rafts, catarafts and kayaks don’t bend like wet noodles in whitewater. The combination of Precontraint® PVC and the AIREcell system creates a stiff, responsive boat which is critical for making big moves in rapids and punching through munchy holes.

5. Sweet selectionAIRE offers the widest range of boat models, colors and custom options on the market. Our sales team works right here at the factory, which means custom orders are produced faster and made to fit your specific needs. Give your local dealer a call to discuss which model is right for you.

D “Diminished” SeriesWith diminished radius tubes in the bow and stern, the D Series is quick on the water and our top performance raft. The diminished design of this raft gets paddlers up close and personal with the river without sacrificing stability and maneuverability.

Target: The best, most maneuverable all-around raft to run with a paddle team and occasionally set up with an oar frame for extended trips.

* The load capacity number is for comparing the capacity of one model versus another. The ideal capacity of a certain model is subject to an individual’s personal preference and to the class of river. **The number of air chambers on an AIRE raft includes two thwarts and the floor.

160 Double-DThis is the newest boat in the raft lineup. The 160DD has a small, diminishing tube diameter which makes it our biggest performance driven raft. Extra width makes it stable in rapids and able to handle large frames, coolers and dry boxes.

Target: A big maneuverable gear and passenger boat for extended trips.

Performance Driven

The Sealed Floor Pocket:How it’s built:• (SFP) is constructed by welding the PVC floor top and bottom

together along the perimeter to form a water proof pocket.• Two watertight zippers are installed on the floor top to access

the air floor AIREcell.• 3 valves are installed. The inflation valve, the pressure relief

valve and a burp valve that relieves air pressure caught between the AIREcell and the floor pocket.

Design Advantages:• The SFP does not take on any water to ballast, this will make

the raft slightly faster and more responsive in whitewater.• Owners don’t have to wait a couple minutes at the take out for

water to drain out of the raft floor pocket.• No need to rinse out the floor pocket after a trip down a silty river.

Recommended for:• Good choice for rowing large, gear hauling rafts. • Rivers that require portages.• The SFP is a good option

when mostly running silty rivers.

The Regular Floor Pocket:How it’s built:• (RFP) is constructed by sewing the PVC floor top and bottom to a

zipper along the perimeter edge of the floor pocket. • An air floor AIREcell is placed inside the pocket which keeps the

floor rigid and buoyant. • Drain holes are built into the bottom of the

floor pocket.

Design Advantages:• Aids in tracking and stability. • While on the river, water will enter the drain holes and add bal-

last to the boat. • This extra ballast creates a low center of gravity which helps the

raft ‘stick’ to the water and can sometimes help prevent a flip.

Recommended for:• This design comes standard with all our rafts.• Great choice for paddle rafts of all sizes.• Rafting big and technical

whitewater.

Two different types of self-bailing floor pockets are available for all AIRE brand rafts. The Regular Floor Pocket comes standard with all AIRE rafts while the Sealed Floor Pocket is optional ($447).

river runner and creek boat of the rafting world. These boats feature narrow beams, high rockers and a

continuous curve design to play in waves and run tight lines. These boats make easier class II and III water

more challenging and exciting, while remaining stable enough for experienced paddlers to run big class

V sections and drop waterfalls. Highly maneuverable and amazingly responsive, the Puma Series can also

play the role of an inflatable drift boat and is a top choice for fishing waters world wide.

You can only imagine our

surprise that, after nine years,

our Tributary line of boats are now used by nearly as many outfitters as private boaters.

Tributary evolved from an idea that

not everyone gets out 50 plus days a

year but there are lots of weekend

warriors that want a high quality boat

that’s not slapped together with glue.

For our Tributary line of boats we will

always use high quality materials and

designs that are proven in big water

conditions but we will throttle back

just a little so we can offer a great

product that won’t break the bank.

S TAnDARD F EATURESAIRE and Tributary rafts, catarafts and kayaks are equipped with the following features:

1 Outer PVC Shell – Our PVC material is manufactured under tension for added tear strength, durability and dimensional stability. The PVC fabric wraps 100% of the boat to protect the air holding layer.

2 AIREcell System – The air holding layer is a thermo-welded bladder that is protected by the shell, easy to access and provides superior air retention.

3 Welded Seams – All our seams are thermo or radio frequency welded, we do not use any glue. This creates stronger, more consistent seams that do not fail over time.

4 Continuous Curve Design – This design eliminates the seams on the bottom of boats and improves hydro-dynamics in the bow and stern. This translates into faster, rugged, more capable rafts, catarafts and kayaks.

5 lace-in Floor – This floor system bails an entire boat full of water in just a couple of seconds.

6 Strap in Thwarts – Each thwart straps into the floor lacing so they can be moved anywhere in the raft and taken out when needed for gear or extra space.

7 Zippers – Full length zippers are used to access the AIREcells. Our zippers are rated at 10 times the force exerted by the recommended inflation pressure.

8 Valves – High quality, one way, reliable marine valves with protective caps designed for years of continuous use.
