Offered in two viscosity grade options the new oils have been specifically designed to provide outstanding levels of valve train protection for highly loaded flat tappet engines and improved levels of friction reduction for power improvement.

Excellent resistance to the degrading effects caused by high temperatures and stress helps ensure stable oil properties throughout the oil change period providing the potential for longer change intervals. The dispersant and detergent technology used also provides for excellent engine component cleanliness for power retention throughout the engine life. Lubricant additives are a very important part of the oil formulation process. All additives chosen to be blended into a motor oil must be carefully selected to be compatible with the base oil and also with each other so that they will produce no negative side effects.

Mobil 1 Racing oils provide all of the necessary protections needed during initial break-in and during racing conditions.

No special break-in oil is needed.

Advanced fully synthetic base stock technology provides a variety of engine benefits. These advanced fully synthetic base stocks provide a carrier fluid for additives that react to form a coating on critical engine parts for wear protection.

Protection against depositsMobil 1 Racing oils are formulated to protect engines against deposits. Deposits form when engine oil reacts with by-products during fuel combustion and coat the surfaces of many critical engine parts. These deposits then insulate the surfaces of an engine and inhibit flow and cooling. The result can cause power loss, increased engine wear and potential engine failure.

High temperature protection

Mobil 1 Racing oils provide protection at high RPM even at temperatures up to 500°F (260°C). This protection also helps turbochargers at high temperatures (> 500°F / 260°C) and works to prevent deposits under high temperature and load across many critical engine parts.

The higher viscosity grade increases bearing protection when running at higher oil temperatures and is suitable for a variety of race engines and racing applications. Mobil 1 Racing 0W-50 is specifically designed to maximize power output during race conditions while providing outstanding durability and protection of critical engine parts.

Mobil 1 Racing 0W-50 gives maximum protection and durability under higher temperatures that are exhibited under short oval track racing to long-duration road racing, such as 24 hour LeMans or Daytona and 12 hours at Sebring. Mobil 1 Racing 0W-50 is recommended for a wide range of engine applications including highly loaded flat tappet designs and features boosted levels of anti-wear protection (zinc-phosphorus) well beyond those of ordinary engine oils.

Mobilith SHC Series greases are high-performance products designed for a wide variety of applications, especially at extreme temperatures. They combine the unique features of synthetic base fluids with those of a high quality lithium complex thickener. The waxfree nature of the PAO base fluids and its low coefficient of traction (compared with mineral oils), provide excellent low temperature pumpability and very low starting and running torque.

Mobilith SHC Series greases offer the potential for energy savings and can reduce operating temperatures in the load zone of rolling element bearings. The lithium complex thickener contributes to excellent adhesion, structural stability and resistance to water. Mobilith SHC 220 is a multipurpose, extreme pressure grease recommended for heavy-duty automotive and industrial applications. Although it is a NLGI 2 Grade product, it has the low temperature pumpability of most NLGI 0 Grade mineral oil based greases. Mobilith SHC 460

Mobilith SHC Series greases are high-performance products designed for a wide variety of applications, especially at extreme temperatures. They combine the unique features of synthetic base fluid with those of a high quality lithium complex thickener. The waxfree nature of the PAO base fluid and its low coefficient of traction (compared with mineral oils), provide excellent low temperature pumpability and very low starting and running torque.

Mobilith SHC Series greases offer the potential for energy savings and can reduce operating temperatures in the load zone of rolling element bearings. The lithium complex thickener contributes to excellent adhesion, structural stability and resistance to water. The greases have a high level of chemical stability and are formulated with special additives to provide excellent protection against wear, rust and corrosion at high and low temperatures.

Mobilith SHC 460 is a NLGI 1.5 Grade grease. It is an extreme pressure grease and is recommended for wheel bearings, chassis lube points, and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series™ hubs. It provides outstanding bearing protection under heavy loads at low-to-moderate speeds and in applications where water resistance and high temperatures are a critical factor. The recommended operating temperature range is -40ºC to 180ºC.

Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease helps protect hardworking parts from temperature extremes, corrosion and wear and contains the same synthetic technology found in Mobil 1 motor oil.

Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease is a NLGI No.2 Lithium complex grease with low traction properties for low starting and running friction. The additive system exhibits extreme-pressure properties and excellent resistance to water wash, and outstanding protection against rust and corrosion. The synthetic base oil used in Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease provides excellent performance properties at high and low temperatures, and effective lubrication and bearing protection over extended periods of time under cornering and other conditions where bearings temporarily experience heavy loads.

Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease can withstand the effects of water washout and is suited for wheel bearings, ball joint suspensions, steering linkages, king pin and chassis lube points.

Mobil 1 motorcycle oils are based on proven, advanced synthetic oil technology. These unique, fully synthetic motorcycle oils are scientifically engineered to withstand the extreme heat produced by high-revving motorcycle engines and the toughest riding conditions.

Mobil 1 Racing 4T 10W-40 is designed for sport bikes and is recommended for four-cycle motorcycles that specify a 10W-40 oil. Most of these bikes have multi-cylinder/multi-valve engines and use a common sump, which means the engine oil lubricates the engine, transmission and wet clutch. Unlike Mobil 1 for passenger car and racing engines, Mobil 1 Racing 4T 10W-40 has no friction modifiers, which could lead to clutch slippage. For that reason, Mobil 1 Racing 4T 10W-40 is perfectly engineered for on-road, off-road and competition four-cycle motorcycles that have a common sump oil system.

Mobil 1 V Twin 20W-50 oil is designed for air-cooled, large-displacement bikes and other high performance air cooled engine applications. Because of their design, these engines can generate very high localized oil temperatures and high overall bulk-oil temperatures.
