1 Remove the seat and left hand sidepanel.

2 Prop the fuel tank in the uprightposition.

3 Remove the airbox lid by disconnect-ing the two hooks on either side of theairbox (Fig A). Unscrew the bolts oneither side of the rear of the airbox orjust lift up to remove the air box.

4 Disconnect the two hoses going to theairbox.

5 Remove the velocity stacks by turningthem counter-clockwise and lifting up(Fig B).

6 Remove the bolt on the underside ofthe airbox (Fig. C).It may be necessary to drop the radia-tor from it’s upper mounts to accessthis bolt.

7 The airbox can now be moved out ofthe way.

11 Unplug the stock connectors from theinjectors (Fig F). Release the springclips to remove each connector. **Do not discard spring clip.**Do not mix up the stock front andrear connectors.

Unplug these connectors

9 Using the supplied zip ties secure thePCIII to the left hand frame tube(Fig. E).

10 Secure the PCIII harness to the stockwiring harness using the stock bandclamps.

8 Route the PCIII harness underneaththe left hand frame tube as in FigureD and go towards the front of thebike.PCIII harness

14 Using the supplied wire tap crimp iton the ORANGE wire of the TPSharness (Fig. J).

15 Connect the GREY wire from thePCIII to the wire tap (Fig. J).It is recommended to use dielectricgrease on these connections.

16 Connect the TPS harness back on tothe throttle body.

12 Plug the connectors from the PCIII in-line of the stock connectors (Fig G). The ORANGE colored wires from thePCIII go to the front cylinder The YELLOW colored wires go to therear cylinder. Reinstall spring clips.

13 Locate the Throttle Position Sensor.Unplug the stock wiring harness fromthe TPS (Fig. H).This connection is located on the lefthand side of the front throttle body.

Grey wire from PCIII

17 Attach the ground wire from the PCIIIto the negative side of the battery(Fig. K).

18 Reinstall airbox and bodywork.
