1st International Conference on Microfluidic Handling Systems
3Enschede, the Netherlands
Welcome to the 1st International Conference on Microfluidic Handling Systems
Dear colleagues,
Worldwide, accurate handling (e.g. dosing, measurement and control) of small and extremely small mass flow rates of both gases and liquids is becoming more and more important, driven by numerous economically important ap-plications in for instance semiconductor industry, analytical instrumentation, food, pharmacy, energy, bioanalytical systems, and micro reaction systems.
Therefore, we organised the 1st International Conference on Microfluidic Han-dling Systems, which provides an excellent opportunity to bring together sci-entists and engineers from academia, research institutes and companies to present and discuss the latest results in the field of microfluidic handling systems. The conference goals are to stimulate interaction and knowledge exchange between the delegates in a friendly atmosphere.
The focus of this conference is mainly on the technology, components, devices and systems that enable the application and biology in microfluidic systems. The most recent developments in the field of microfluidic sensors, actuators, interfaces, fluidic control systems and applications will be presented.
We are looking forward to seeing you at the MFHS2012 conference!
Kind regards,
Dr. Joost Lötters Prof. Gerald UrbanChair Co-chair
