1See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we

would be called children of God; and such we are. For this

reason the world does not know us, because it did not know

Him. 2Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not

appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He

appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He

is.

Receiving God’s different category of love makes us different and objectionable to those enmeshed in lesser categories of love.It makes us non-conformists.

2Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared it has not appeared

as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will

be like Him, because we will see Him just as He isbe like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.




Although God’s different kind of love makes us what we are not, it will continue to make us what we are not yet.

God wants us to be moved deeply by the greatness of the unique kind of love They have lavished on us.
