Kelsey wants to glue the one-inch pipe cleaner pieces on a paper so that the pipe cleaner pieces form the shape of a rectangle. Kelsey does not want to bend or cut the one-inch pipe cleaner pieces. Kelsey wants to find all the possible rectangles she can make with the one-inch pipe cleaner pieces before she decides which rectangle to glue on her paper. What are all the possible rectangles Kelsey can choose from to glue on her paper? Show all your mathematical thinking.

Content The following are some of Confucius’s sayings:

"Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it."

“It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.”

“You cannot open a book without learning something.”

“What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others.”

Choose two of these sayings and explain what Confucius really means by the saying. You can give an example from real life to help you explain.

Example

“To be wronged is nothing unless you continue to remember it.”

This means that people may do bad things to you, must it only becomes really bad if you keep remembering and bringing up what they did. For example, if someone says something mean to me I may be upset for a second but then I should let it go. It’ll only become something bigger in my life if I keep bring it up and mentioning what they said.
