Received unpaid through Calais going to Paris, France. Folded letter sheet with some reinforced erosion at the bottom. A very scarce use. At least two have gone through auc- tion in the past year and brought between $1,500 and $2,000.00. The three 3c Rose stamps and the 3c en- tire pay the four times domestic rate to Prairie du Sac, WI. The stamp folded over was slit upon opening the envelope with the same piece still affixed to the back. A portion of the back flap is missing.
