Bingo Report – Sep we had about 265 players. Needed more workers. Oct 20 is the next Bingo. Bingo license has been renewed. Survey conducted. Main question was whether players would continue to come if we increased the price to $25 from $20. Also had feedback on other aspects of the event.

dog brings in $2,000 plus to the auction proceeds. In return, Knights are to get mention of sponsoring the dog at the auction as well as a full page ad in the auction book. Dave Denzer moved we send auction the $500. Motion PASSED.

- Clown Club asked for $500 to cover costs. New member Don Turpin is a member of the clown club. Discussion followed asking whether other councils donate to the clown club and also for accounting of money brought in and expenses paid before committing $500. Steve Lane moved that until such information can be obtained, $200 be donated at the current time to the clown club. Motion PASSED.

- Youth Group is asking for help installing a handicap accessible bathroom in the youth house. Discussion followed. No idea how much it will eventually cost, so we should see some bids. Also, concern over whether the current location is large enough and how much longer they will continue to use the current location should be known before committing anything. Bob Walker pointed out why we should help the youth group (future potential members). No argument about that. However, Rich Lacaille pointed out that we’ve given money to the youth group in the past and have not received an acknowledgment. We want to make sure they are aware of our gifts or Bob’s point is moot. Tabled until more info is known.
