Our Saturday evening worship service begins at 5:00pm. It is a contemporary service that appeals to people of all ages. The music is contemporary praise music, acoustic and amplified, and orchestrated by our own praise band. Our Sunday worship services are at 9:00am . 10:30am. Sunday morning 9:00am worship is a traditional service that appeals to adults whose children are in Sunday School. The music includes traditional organ, piano, and Chancel Choir voices. Our Sunday morning 10:30am worship is a blended service and includes a brief children’s sermon. The music is both traditional and contemporary. We provide Holy Communion at all worship services the second Sunday of each month. Fri Dec 20 Cookies, Cocoa ‘n’ Carols Community Sing-AlongThink of this as a Christmas pep rally . . . music therapy for enhancing holiday mood! Our church Board of Deacons welcomes the church congregation and Coronadoans of all ages and all vocal ability to gather under twinkling stars on the church campus front lawn from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Friendly church elves will serve complimentary cups of cocoa and handfuls of freshly baked spiced sugar cookies, guaranteed to warm spirits and sweeten voices in a community chorus of favorite Christmas carols. Bring your favorite cookies to share...homemade or store bought. This year we have a petting zoo for the kids. Casual. Comfortable. A cappella. Come as you are, mingle with members, greet guests, leave as you wish, and take the Spirit of Christmas with you.

Su Dec 22 Christmas at the Kirk HouseCome one and all, young and old, to the McElrath’s annual Christmas Open House on Sunday, December 22, from 6:30 - 8:00pm, in the upstairs portion of the Kirk House. It’s a great chance to share a bit of Christmas cheer over cookies and cider. Children welcome as always!

Holiday Schedule RemindersThe following groups will not meet between December 20, 2013 and January 3, 2014: Graham Memorial Preschool, Awana, Hand Bells, Chancel Choir, Thrift Cottage, Friday Morning Women’s Bible Study, Chronological Bible Study, Big Five and Crosswalk Youth Groups. They will resume their normal schedules Monday, January 7, 2013.

Coronado Men for Family ValuesA men’s group devoted to the restoration of family values in Coronado, which is “Jesus centered but non-denominational,” meets on the third Monday of every month from 6:30 to 8:30pm. However, they will not meet in December. The Coronado Men for Family Values wishes everyone a very merry Christmas!
