REFERENCES RWE is planning to build a lignite-fired power plant with optimized efficiency parameters – the most modern of it’s kind in the world. This new power plant with 2 Blocks will be equipped with a flue gas desulfurization system. The company LAB offers to RWE the Twin-Tower DCFS from Mitsubishi. Part of the offer is a 3D design model of the system based on the tender data and bill of Quantities for steelwork and piping. As a subcontractor for LAB we developed the preliminary design and 3D model for integration of the desulfurization system into the new power plant and we extracted BoQs for price calculation purposes.
