Robust and resistant

Thanks to their outstandingproperties hydrolysis-resistantpolyurethanes from Simrit offernumerous advantages overconventional materials suitablefor drinking water such asEPDM or NBR. The hydrolysis-resistant TPU from Simrit is cha-racterised by a much higherresistance to abrasion thanconventional materials, thusensuring considerably lowerwear of sealing elements andmoulded parts. Thanks to itsgood slide properties the mate-rial is also predestined fordynamic sealing problems.In addition, the extreme levelsof tensile strength, breakingelongation and resistance totear propagation result in easyfitting. Compared with EPDMand NBR, the material provides

for greater creativity in terms of product solutions for example,

the high structural stabilityfrequently makes it possible toabandon the use of reinforcingelements such as plates orfabric inserts. The integrationof several functions in onecomponent is possible, e. g.sealing, damping and snap-infitting.
