HOW OFTEN DO YOU VISIT THE SUPERMARKET?

65% OF BRITONS REGULARLY OR OCCASIONALLY VISIT A SUPERMARKET MORE THAN ONCE A DAY

MILLENNIALS

18 to 24 year-olds are twice as likely to visit regularly a supermarket twice a day as the over-55s.

• An average Waitrose would open with around 200 big trolleys and 150 shallow ‘daily shopper’ trolleys lined up outside.

• These days there are 250 shallow ‘daily shoppers’ and just 70 big trolleys needed
