We are excited to tell you a little bit about us and our families. First of all, we are very thankful to you for taking the time to get to know us. We hope that we have the parental qualities that you are looking for to take care of your child. We know that this is a difficult decision, but we hope that we can show you how eager we are to become

parents. Although we have tried for years we have not been blessed with the gift of a child, but we hope that you can give us and our families that blessing. Rest assured that we will care for him/her,

and provide him/her with a loving, caring, and

supportive home.

OUR STORY BEGINS IN 1995 when we met in Miami Beach, Florida. From the first day we went out we knew the love between us would last forever. A year later we married and always planned to have a big family.

For many years we tried to conceive a baby.

In 2004 we decided to see a fertility doctor. After numerous tests, we decided to give invitro a try. By October 2004 we found out we were pregnant and we were expecting a baby girl, but shortly after (a day shy of four months) we found out that the baby had a

gene disorder and the baby had passed.

Loss is difficult for everyone, and we went through some difficult times trying to cope with our loss, but we never lost hope of

starting a family. Throughout the years we continued to try, but to no avail.

We have come to the conclusion that

adoption is the way our family is intended

to grow. We feel a new-found hope that our family will grow.

I live life to the fullest. In July of 2012 I had a brain aneurysm and almost lost my life. George had to make one of the toughest decisions ever, but thanks to his bravery, I had emergency brain surgery. I am thankful for every day of life that I get, because it is a blessing. I can assure you that I will raise our future son or daughter to enjoy the little things and make the most out of his or her life.

I enjoy shopping and spending time with our families. I also enjoy watching movies at the movie theatre and anything fun.

In 2005, I opened an agency to help the elderly and the disabled. I am currently the Administrator in my business and have a great support staff. I am extremely happy with my job and to know that we make a positive impact in the lives of so many people.

�I enjoy watching sports, especially football. I also enjoy boating and like to spend time in the Keys with my wife, friends and family.

I work with my wife and other family members at an agency that helps the elderly and the disabled. It is very satisfying to help people who are suffering and who need medical care in their homes. I have also been a truck driver in the past and have visited many places in the United States as a result.

OUR POODLE, SOPHIE

When you least expect it, life throws you a curveball. In the midst of our infertility struggles our lives took a turn for the better. In 2011 George's younger brother Ulysses (12 years old at the time) and younger sister Janet (9 years old at the time) were permanently placed in our care.

Ulysses is now 18 years old, recently graduated high school, and is currently a freshman at FIU majoring in medicine. Janet is now a beautiful, bright, and sweet 15 year old, sophomore in high school.

We welcomed Ulysses and Janet into our home with open arms and have cherished every moment together. Having them live with us has given us so much joy, but we know that deep in our hearts we have so much more love to give a child. Ulysses and Janet are excited and supportive about our decision to pursue adoption. We know tha they will be great role models to our future son or daughter.

Our community is full of fun and safe things to do, especially with children. We enjoy going to the park on a sunny day, to the beach, riding bikes, barbecues, eating ice-cream, watching movies and many other fun activities. We have excellent schools within walking distance of our home, as well as great families around. We look forward to spending much time exploring all these fun places and activities with our new bundle of joy!

WE ARE BLESSED TO HAVE SO MANY PEOPLE THAT SURROUND US WITH LOVE AND SUPPORT ON A DAILY BASIS. From our families, to our closest friends, to even our employees, we can always count on them. Everyone in our life was so excited when we shared our plans to adopt. Our future child will have an amazing support systerm.

We treat everyday as a gift from God. After Yesenia's health scare in 2012, we started looking at life in a different way. We give thanks for all of the little moments in life and are thankful for everyone who is a part of our life. We have a lot of faith that we will have the chance to raise our child and teach, guide, and love him/her for a lifetime.
