Lazy Monday Twisted Tuesday

Aren’t Monday mornings such a pain? This is a quick and easy way to make it look like you actually spent some time on your hair in the morning. However, all you have to do is pick it up into a simple ponytail and add an edgy headband to give it a more glamorous look. You can spray down any flyaway hairs with hairspray. In this example, we used Herbal Essences “Set Me Up” hairspray and an embellished headband from Forever 21.

When Tuesday comes along, you’re ready for a more natural and unique look. You can start off by washing your hair and keeping it natural by applying a sculpting cream or gel. Give your hair some more pizzazz by adding a twist to your bangs and securing it with a bobby pin. This is a fun and girly way to spice up your hair. When we put this look together, we used Garnier Fructis Curl Sculpting Cream Gel. It is perfect for maintaining bouncy curls and preventing frizz.

Weaved-up Wednesday S Thursday

It’s the middle of the week which means it’s time to mix things up! Instead of the standard braid, try sporting a fishtail braid. Also, add a teal, black, or silver bow for a touch of Maverick spirit. This look is perfect for a pep rally or school sponsored event. We purchased our bow at Love Culture. These types of bows are very inexpensive and can be found just about anywhere.

Impress your friends with this intricate looking yet extremely simple snake braid. It can easily be created by braiding a section of hair from root to tip. Afterwards, take hold of the center strand and gently slide up the rest of the braid. Then, space out the scrunched up hair to reveal this beautiful end result. Having ironed hair not only makes the braid stand out but also makes the process of constructing the braid easier. You will definitely turn heads in the hallways with this unusual braid!
