Required to complete before requesting a Retirement of an Asset
Provide specific information pertaining to the item
Other DOC Bureaus can see this information to ensure it meets their needs before transferring

AT THE MAIN MENU SELECT CD50/52 TRANSACTION MENU
CLICK TO MAINTAIN ASSET
ENTER THE BAR CODECLICK ON QUERY
SCROLL DOWN TO THE BOTTOM HALF OF SCREEN
DOC had Sunflower add monitors, printers, scanners, multifunctional printers and more as requiring the UDF field to be completed.
To determine if an asset requires the UDF field to be completed you must review EACH asset under the Maintain Asset screen.
At the bottom of the Maintain Asset screen if hardware type and hard disk status appears then this must be completed.
If the information is required in the User Defined Field (bottom of the Maintain Asset Field) it must be added to a NF 37-45 form.
Monitors, Printers, Copiers, Scanners, Switches……OH MY !!
ENTER INFORMATION IN EACH BOX with CLICK SAVE AT THE BOTTOM.
Only the PC and PAO can see the Users Defined(UDF) screen
The POC cannot enter these fields
You are ready to submit a Request for Retirement of an Asset

Model Number Correction
Model number's with " ~ " will not allow the Retirement of Asset Request to be completed
Catalog Request may be necessary if current model number is not in Sunflower
Another model number identifying the current model number may be used (i.e., HP LaserJet 5, but in Sunflower C2954 can be used)

ENTER THE BAR CODECLICK ON QUERY
MODEL NUMBER with ~ (Tilda mark)
DELETE THE HIGHLIGHTED MODEL NUMBER AND
ENTER % THEN TAB
HIGHLIGHT THE CORRECT MODEL NUMBER CORRECT MODEL NUMBER FROM THE LIST BELOW
SELECT BUTTON
CLICK SAVE
SAVE
If there is a Tilde ~ mark in the model number the HD Status may not show so you will have to correct the model number first and select “Save”
Then close the screen and query the barcode again so the HD Status will appear
