WILLIAM A. J. BENNET William A.J. Bennet attended and graduated Westmount high school. He was an only child and by the time he was half way through high school, his father passed away. Despite

loosing his father he continued on

not only to graduate high school but Air

cadets as well. William formally joined the Royal Canadian Air

Force in 1942. Tragically, William never saw combat due to a fatal training exercise that

took his life. He died at the age of 21. He was buried in

Mount Royal cemetery with his father.
