Getting Strong with Whole Grains Have students stand next to their desks or in an open space so they do not bump into each other. Assign one student to be Grain Boy/Girl. Explain that Grain Boy/Girl is going to ask the class some questions about whole grains and lead them in some fitness activities. Have Grain Boy/Girl choose one of the question and activity cards from the bag or box. Have Grain Boy/Girl read the question and have the students answer. After one of the students answers correctly, have Grain Boy/Girl lead the class in the listed activity. The person that answers the question correctly then becomes the new Grain Boy/Girl. Choose as many activities as you wish. Vary the length of time of the activities according to your classroom. You can also have the students make up their own rhymes and activities.
