Remember, for your child to succeed, he or she needs to be at school. Please, refrain from scheduling appointments, vacations, etc. during school hours when possible. They miss out on valuable lessons!

Please, help your student remember to bring their homework on Fridays!!

Reading: We will be comparing and contrasting main ideas and key details on similar texts. This week we will be reading stories from our social studies book.

Writing: This week we will continue our work with opinion writing. We will continue researching our opinion piece on Classroom Mascots. In your opinion, what do you think a good mascot would be? You have to have reasons to support your choice!

Math: We will be diving deeper into word problems. How do we know what information is useful? We will be practicing writing appropriate equations with variables. Please continue to practice multiplication and division with your student at home!

Science: We will continue talking about the water cycle and the different forms of clouds.
