One of the most reflecting ways of storytelling is doing it with video. Because of its a combination of pictures, clips, text and music, the audience is understanding and remember the information better.

Main Points

The software im going to present you is VideoPad Editor. The reasons i found it suitable for Video Storytelling are the following:

Its free licensed (there is also paid version of it) Semi – professional Allows you to overlay video and audio tracks Easy environment A lot of effects, options and possibilites

Video tracks overlay

• Video tracks overlay is interesting, having at least 2 different videos (sequence of images) running in the same time.

• With VideoPad editor u can do this for free

• So first you need to learn how to import objects into the library

1. You click Add file

2. Then The files you included are arranged in 3 categories: Video files, Audio files and Images

3. And then you drag&drop items to the tracks

• So your “working environment” should now be something like this.And these are the video tracks

Green Screen

• One of the most helpful effects in the video track overlaying is the green screen.

• The green screen is actually a effect with which you transparent one or more of the colors of image/video.

• With this effect you can “merge” 2 (or more) videos so they will more look like one

• You can access video effects by the following steps: 1. Click on the yellow star in the left bottom corner of the video in the videotrack

3. Click Configure the effect, pick a color and adjust foreground and background
