Aggregate enforcement for the development of Culture & Tourism being the mandate, the following are a few of the key functions of the ministry :• Create conducive enabling environment for the sustainable
development of Tourism Packages • Promote widely the country’s tourist attractions identified• Facilitate the preservation of the country’s natural heritage and
the utilization of them as Tourist products• Set and supervise the enforcement of standards for tourist
facilities• Serve as a focal institution to facilitate the coordination of the
multi-sectoral efforts required for the provision of quality Tourist Services
• Build the capacity of the tourism sector through availing support packages in adapting best international practices
