TRAFFIC REDUCTION USING ANDROID APPLICATION

Report Presented by:-Tanavi Ghosalkar

-Shailendra Khandewale-Diksha Suvarna

Project Guide :- Prof. Uday Rote

The road traffic management is based on dynamic vehicle routing.Selection route depends on various parameters.End user selects source and destination then the path will be displayed on Maps .Optimal path will be provided Accommodation of people in less number of vehicles.

ABSTRACT

• Increasing traffic• Individuals takes cabs or own vehicles to drive to their destination

• Use of vacant seats in the vehicles• Application Based on Android• commuters from same Vicinity• Profile matching• More number of commuters can be populated in lesser number of vehicles

INTRODUCTION

What is Android ?

Open Source System

Direct Access to Hardware Components

More Popularity

Why Android ? ?

To reduce traffic congestion. To provide optimum path to reach the destination To accommodate more number of people in lesser number of vehiclesTo reduce pollution

PROPOSED SYSTEM

Route Of Person Driving The Car

Position of the person who wants to take the lift and is in the path of the person driving car

Based on age, occupation, gender.

Highest matched clusters will be provided.

Chat window for selected persons.

Communication between them to notify about their destination etc.

PROFILE MATCING
