Restoring Europe’s finest Wurlitzer pipe organ to public use 1
£25,000 APPEAL TARGET ACHIEVED! Welcome to this double issue of our Newsletter. The Trust is delighted to announce that during January the appeal to raise an additional £25,000 has reached its target. In total £275,000 has been raised for the project to install the Trocadero Wurlitzer into its new home at the Troxy, a truly magnificent response.
The Trustees would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who most generously donated to the appeal. In addition, our thanks go to Sue Laflin and Graham Noble who worked behind the scenes processing donations and Gift Aid, and seeking additional grants for the project.
The Cinema Organ Society is making good progress with the installation, and we look forward to hearing the organ in its new home.

SOLO ORGAN INSTALLATION BEGINS In early February work began to install the Solo organ and the contents of the Percussion chamber. The main structure to carry the Solo organ chamber manual windchests on two levels was installed in early 2013, together with the two chests on the lower level. This latest phase of work will see the whole chamber completed. The work is being carried out by professional organ builder Les Ross and his team, together with the volunteer project team who have worked so tirelessly to install the Main organ.
Framing and Off-note Chest Installation
Initial work has been completed to install the framing need to support all of the off-note wind-chests and to install the chests.
