Install Teseo Suite
Download and install the Teseo
Suite version selected

Teseo-Suite is a powerful PC Tool able to manage the ST
Teseo II and Teseo III GNSS solutions.
Teseo Suite has two flavors:
• Light available on
www.st.com (with limited
features)
• Pro on request @
st-teseo-suite-support
Install VCP Driver
ST’s Teseo II and Teseo III GNSS solutions can be connected to
a PC using the USB port through the USB-To-UART bridge
• You need to install the ST Teseo II and ST Teseo III VCP
Driver. It can be downloaded here:
• SiliconLabs www.silabs.com
or
• FTDIChip www.fdtichip.com

Start application
On application start-up the Configuration Session panel is shown
Push ‘Add Device’ button to add a new entry

Set the Hardware type: STA8090
Set the GNSS Device Name: EVB-T3
Enable Add Control Port
Set the Protocol: NMEA
Set the Port Name: according to the
discovered on the PC
Configure the port as following table:
Click-on the Ok button
Baud rate Data Bits Stop Bits Parity Handshake
115200 bps 8 Bits 1 Bit none none

Connect the device
In the Configuration Session panel a new entry (row) is shown
Enable Connect Ctrl port
Click-on the Connect all button

NMEA Decoding panel is shown
NMEA Stream can be viewed and inspected

Disconnect the device
In the Configuration Session panel entry (row)
Click-on the Disconnect button

Write the ‘command’ in the text-edit entry
Click-on the ‘Send’ button to raise the command to the device
Inspect the replay message in the NMEA Stream

in the menu (button turns red)

in the menu (button turns white)
