2 Accessing the VLE August 2018 v 1.0 Final

Step 1: LOGGING IN Open a new browser and go to https://kufpersonalitydisorder.org.uk/ using either google chrome or internet explorer. This will open up the page below.

You will need to log in (see arrow below)

You should have received an email with your username and password. If not please contact us at kuflogins@nottshc.nhs.uk

Enter your username and password in the boxes in the log in screen. Please note the password is a once-only access password and should be changed immediately. Failure to change the access password will restrict your access to the VLE again after logging out. If you receive an error message, this is usually because your username and/or password are incorrect. Please check your details and if you still experience difficulties email us at kuflogins@nottshc.nhs.uk If you forget your password please use the ‘forgot password’ link

Once you have logged into the VLE, you should see the page below:

Step 2: Click on the view course link for the relevant programme

AWARENESS LEVEL

Click on Level 1: Homepage (Student) Working with Personality Disorder: Raising Awareness information (see below)

Step 3: Accessing Training Materials (Awareness) Click on the link again as in the example below

These will bring up the Modules which you will need to complete. You can access them by clicking on the Module Titles. Select the Module which you want to study

Step 4: Working through the Modules This is an example of Module 1: What is Personality Disorder?

At the bottom of each page, you will be able to click through to the next page/module

Step 5: Accessing the Forum for your Cohort https://kufpersonalitydisorder.org.uk/my/ - click view course (as per below, depending on which course you are on)

Click on the relevant region and cohort
