  Restrict Project Access in Primavera P6.  Author: Vinoth Kumar Subramani Logon with Admin User / User with Admin Privilege. Go to Adminsiter -> Users -> All except Users & Profiles -> Add user and save it. Now, select the user you have created and select the Module Access tab and select Projects alone and Save it. Then Go to Administer -> User Access -> OBS -> Create a new OBS as shown below. Select the created OBS and select the Users tab in the bottom and assign the newly created user. Save and close it.

  • Restrict Project Access in Primavera P6.

    Logon with Admin User / User with Admin Privilege.

    Go to Adminsiter -> Users -> All except Users & Profiles -> Add user and save it.

    Now, select the user you have created and select the Module Access tab and select Projects alone and

    Save it.

    Then Go to Administer -> User Access -> OBS -> Create a new OBS as shown below.

    Select the created OBS and select the Users tab in the bottom and assign the newly created user.

    Save and close it.

  • Now go to -> Users -> All except Users & Profiles -> select the [Created User] -> and select Project Access

    and verify the same. It will have responsible manager as the newly created OBS.

    Create an EPS or child EPS.

    Go to Projects -> EPS -> and give the EPS name, save and close it.

    Select the newly created EPS which you have created now and go to General tab and Select the

    Responsible manager as the OBS you have created now.

    Then Logout form Admin user / user with admin privilege.

    Logon with the newly created user.

  • Select Projects -> EPS.

    Create the new project which you want. This user wont have privilege to access other projects / EPS.

    Now you can create the Project which you want.
