A Bible study series featuring a close focus on the prophet Habakkuk. The prophet Habakkuk deals
primarily with the moral and religious conditions of his own people at the time of his ministry. We’ll see how
his denunciations and warnings were not just abstract
principles, but were local and for Israel. We’ll see how his time compares with our own and
much more. Leader: Dave Upham

Sequim Bible has a prayer team of two people praying during the 9:30 A.M. service each week. We serve two Sundays in a four month period, but we are not able to cover every Sunday. It is not intimidating. A single person can participate or a husband/wife team. If the Lord is prompting you, please call Fran Nielsen 417-1125. Thanks for your consideration.

Part 2 of the 2-part series: "Reverse Engineering Your Family Legacy from
Finish to Start " by: David McAlvany
Last week, our speaker brought his sobering perspective on the incredible debt
that is sweeping our nation, our government and really the whole world. What
can we do? What does the future offer? This week, this skilled Christian
financial professional brings us some practical, well thought-out ideas to plan
how we as individuals and families can plan for the financial and other carnage that is right
around the corner. This is one you won't want to miss. It was presented at the 2015 Strategic
Perspectives Conference in October. Back then, McAlvany reported our national debt as $ 18.2
trillion dollars. That is no longer true. Now, it is $19.4 trillion. Can the problems we face be met?
Join us. Not all the ideas he brings will fit all, but many will. And... ideas you have may help
another! See you Tuesday!

Thank you to those who attended the noon prayer time on Wednesday. God hears and answers our united prayers! The purpose of our prayer time is to pray for the upcoming elections...for people to be available for office who are godly and who honor God and His Word. We also prayed for those currently running for office, that they would want to do right and be blessed. We prayed for our nation as a whole: our
young people, that they would be awakened to the truth and want to follow it; for our pastors and churches, especially for a spirit of unity to prevail; for our police and military, that they would be safe and given the freedom to do their job that they need to do, and for those military who have been wounded and those suffering from PTSD. We prayed for our media, that they would be more responsible. We thanked God for Franklin Graham's ministry at every state capitol and the prayer gatherings there; we asked God to forgive our sins, both individually and as a nation; that He would be able to show mercy on our wayward nation and that He would draw us back to Himself and to His Word. There will be prayer time at DCC on Wednesdays at noon each week until the election, except on the first Wednesday of August and September, when it will be here at SBC. Carolyn Tormala
