About The Program:
Sandip Foundation’s Department of Management Studies Successfully conducted Two days
National Seminar on the Topic Excellence in Management : Dilatation of Institute Industry
Interface on 22nd
& 23rd
February .The main purpose of organizing this seminar was to provide
platform to the Research Scholars, Academicians , Industry Practitioners & Students to present
their research work on the said topic . Guest for the Inaugural function were Mr Ganesh
Kothawade (VP, ABB Ltd), Mr Pradeep Ghare (Founder of The Catalyst) & Mr Mukesh Gupta
(Director , MG Electrica). Dr Rakesh Patil (Dean Admin & Head MBA ) welcomed the Guests &
the Participants from various Institutes & Industries. Dr S. T.Gandhe (Principal, SITRC) in his
address note said that there is big question mark on student’s employability & definitely the
employability rate can be increased through Institute Industry Collaboration & Tie-ups. The
research papers which were received for the seminars written by various research scholars &
students from in & out of Maharashtra were published in International Journal of Economics &
Commerce. The Journal was unveiled during the Inaugural Function of the seminar at the hands
of all the Dignitaries present on the dais. All the Guest speakers while addressing the participants
spoke on various topics which were aligned with the theme of the seminar & also highlighted that
the gap between the expectations of Industry & Institute should be narrowed down. The post lunch
session was followed by paper presentation. Papers on various sub themes were presented before
the session chair Dr Preeti Kulkarni (Director , Navjeevan IOM ). The last session of the day was
conducted by Mr Bhautik Shah who was invited as a key note speaker .On day two Prof. (Dr)
Shrikrishna Dahale from S. B. Jain Institute of Technology, Management & Research, Nagpur
& Prof. (Dr) Pallavi Mandaogade Director-G.H. Raisoni Institute of Management Studies,
Amravati were invited as key note speaker . While addressing the gathering both guests pointed
out that it’s the Institute who need to take major steps in order to make their students employable
& industry ready. Institutes must have their curriculum aligned with Industry requirements.
Research papers were also presented on day two by the participants. The National seminar ended
with valedictory function along with distribution of certificates.
Outcome:
1. Researcher were able to use the Platform to present their research work
2. Many points were discussed regarding bridging the gap between the expectations of
Institute & Industry
