SANDIP POLYTECHNIC,NASHIK

Sandip foundation in association with Maharashtra State Institute of Science Nagpur, Zilla Parishad,(Education Dept) Nashik, organized 41st Nasik District Science Exhibition on 11th January 2016 to 13th January 2016. The winners from town level science exhibition were participants. Mrs. Vijayashree Chumbale was the chief guest for the event. During her speech she focused on the creating new inventions and innovations. Students from different schools all across the district visited to the exhibition and understand the innovations created by the participants. The valedictory function was organized on 13th January 2016 and winners were awarded by prizes and memento.

Sandip Polytechnic in association with Computer Society of India, Nasik chapter had organized the State Level Paper Presentation Competition on 18th January 2015 for all the groups of polytechnic. Students from all across the state participated in the event. In this Event Prof. P. N. Patil ,Principal Sandip Polytechnic & Dr.S.S.Sane, Mr. Avinash Shirode, Patron, CSI were the chief guest for inauguration function. Total 50 Groups were participated in the event.

Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp was organized for all the third year students on 22nd Jan 2016 to 24th Jan 2016. Various renowned personalities from industries visited to camp and shared their experiences with students. The event was coordinated by Prof. U.N.Abhonkar and Prof. K.K.Ambekar.

Sandip Polytechnic got runner up in the MSBTE sponsored Inter-Engineering Diploma Students Sports Association zonal Kabaddi competition. The final match was played between Sandip Polytechnic and K.K.Wagh Polytechnic Chandori on 29th January 2016. Prof. Gopal Wadnere and his team had taken the efforts for building the winning team.

Sandip Polytechnic won the MSBTE sponsored Inter-Engineering Diploma Students Sports Association Zonal Football competition. The final match was played on 28th January 2016. Prof. Arvind Jadhav and his team had taken the efforts for building the winning team.

Department of Mechanical Engineering MSBTE Sponsored National Level Quiz Competition

To promote Inattentiveness, creativity, remove stage fright, improve communication skills and to boost the talents of Diploma students, On 19th January 2016 National Level Technical Quiz Competition were organized by Sandip foundation's Sandip Polytechnic Mechanical Department, Mahiravani Nashik which were sponsored by MSBTE Mumbai.

In this Event Prof. P. N. Patil (Principal Sandip Polytechnic) & Prof. A. S. Maheshwari (HOD Mech. SITRC) were chief guest also Prof. Kiran Patil & Prof. Santosh Katkade (Asst. Professor) from SITRC Nashik were judges. Felicitation of chief guest & Judges were done By Prof. S. S. Raut (HOD Mech.) of Sandip Polytechnic, Nashik.

Total 180 Groups were participated of which 120 groups were from Maharashtra State & 60 Groups were from out of the Maharashtra state. Three Most Talented groups were selected as a winner which are as follows:

Industrial Visit

Name of Industry : Narang Cold Storage Satpur MIDC , Nashik Date of Visit : 05/01/2016

TYME A & B students visited Narang cold storage on 5th January 2016 along with Prof. S. K. Chincholkar & Prof. V. R. Bhadane. In this visit students observed how the cold storage works & what are the different components are required for storage of grapes and others products at Narang Cold storage also students observed how the compressor, condenser & evaporators work in actual practice. Narang cold

storage work for storage of high quality grapes for exporting purpose.

Name of Industry : Jadhav Casting , Nashik Forging , konkan Tools Date of Visit : 08/01/2016

On 7th & 8th of January 2016 students of SYME were visited three industries at Satpur MIDC Nashik those are Jadhav casting , Nashik forging & Konkan Tools. This visit was useful for the students of SYME which will cover their AMP, MEM & MPR Subjects. SYME students have gone through theoretical concept after this visit they got idea regarding different between actual manufacturing process like casting, Forging , punching etc. At Jadhav casting all part which manufactured with help of casting process were observed, At Nashik forging the parts which are manufactured with help of forging were understood & at konkan tools used for manufacturing were observed by the students of SYME.

Expert Lectures Topic : Swami Vivekananda & today’s youth Resource Person : Mr. Vikas Newale, Z-24 (Marathi) Speaker Date : 21/01/2016

Expert Lecture by Mr.Vikas Newale (Speaker of Z24 news channel) were arranged by Mechanical Engineering department on 21st January 2016 at SIEM seminar hall on the topic Swami Vivekananda & today’s youth. In this Lecture Mr. Vikas Newale guided students regarding swami Vivekananda’s life and character also showed the difference between principles of life of Swami Vivekananda & today’s youth are living. He also guided students to follow rules and principles defined by swami Vivekananda in their life.

Expert Lecture on Entrepreneurship Creativity and opportunity were arranged by the Mechanical engineering department of Sandip Polytechnic Nashik. Mr.Gajendra Medi (CEO, Momentum Training & HR consultancy, Nashik ) were resource person for this lecture. Mr. Gajendra Medi motivated students regarding entrepreneurship and also guided for what creative steps one has to take for becoming successful Entrepreneur. He also showed some video regarding opportunity in entrepreneurship.

Election amongst TYME student for Representative of Young inspiration Network (YIN) conducted by SAKAL : 20/01/2016

Election were conducted amongst the TYME students for college representative of Young inspiration Network (YIN) by SAKAL in this Program interested students were appointed as Member for Representative post and all student have did voting for their favorite member on 20th January 2016 at TYME class room result still awaited but TYME students were excited regarding event.

T-TET Program will going to start soon in Sandip Polytechnic in association with the Toyota Kirloskar engine pvt. Ltd for that purpose Prof. D. S. Mahale & Prof. N. P. Jade appointed as a instructor for the student of Mechanical Engineering. For this program one week training were conducted by Toyota Kirloskar engine pvt ltd at Talegaon MIDC , Pune. In this training how to assemble and disassemble engine, how to find the fault in engine & how to apply management tools were taught.
