Highscalers recognized in ceremonyOfficials at the Clark County

Heritage Museum were pleasedto take part in a special "signing", event recently at the base ofHoover Dam.Boulder City artist Rick

Harlow presented his work 'ThenCame 400" in a ceremony thatrecognized the .contributioris of"highscalers," the men who.worked building the dam in the. 1930s.The highlight ofthe eventwas the co-signing ofthe work byone of the last survivinghighscalers, Boulder City resi-dent, Joe Kine.The 31st copy of the historic

print will be put on permanentexhibit at the Clark CountyHeritage Museum.Museum officials felt the sig-

nificance ofthe 31st copy(originaldam workers are referred to as"31ers" as dam construction wasbegun in 1931) combined withthe signature ofthe last remain-ing highscalers make. this a veryhistoric print.The print will be placed in the
