Boulder City artist Rick Harlow presented his work'Then Came 400" in a ceremony that recognized the .contributioris of "highscalers," the men who. worked building the dam in the . 1930s.The highlight ofthe event was the co-signing ofthe work by one of the last surviving highscalers, Boulder City resi- dent, Joe Kine. The 31st copy of the historic print will be put on permanent exhibit at the Clark County Heritage Museum. Museum officials felt the sig- nificance ofthe 31st copy(original dam workers are referred to as "31ers" as dam construction was begun in 1931) combined with the signature ofthe last remain- ing highscalers make.this a very historic print. The print will be placed in the Museum's Babcock & Wilcox Company house. This histori- .
