When McAfee doesn't run scans per schedule, certain settings on your computer may be incorrect. Listed below are three solutions to help resolve this issue.

Step 1:

• In the Windows taskbar, next to the clock, right-click the McAfee (M) icon, and then click Open McAfee SecurityCenter.

• Note: Alternatively, you can click Start, select All Programs, select McAfee, and then click McAfee SecurityCenter.

Step 2Open McAfee and click the Schedule and run

scans.

• Click Scheduled Scans.

STEP 5Click the Select a schedule option and drop-down menu, select the desired schedule for the scan and click Apply. If you want to customize the schedule, skip to the next step.

Click the Create my own scan schedule option.

STEP 7Click the Create my own scan schedule drop-down menu, and select the desired week.

STEP 8 Click the days of the week and the preferred time you want to schedule the scan.

Click Apply.
