Problem Description

• Cinema closed without a renovating project defined;

• Cinema intervention in the air conditioning system;

• Cinema future decided on the beginning of this year;

• Alternatives presented by the cinema owner:

• Maintain the three rooms;

• Split the area in to a big room and a smaller one;

• Return to the original project (one single room).

Decision support

• Propose an innovating air conditioning system, which:

• Reduce exploring costs;

• Increase cinema appeal to the public;

• Serve as a marketing due to his innovation abilities:

• Excellent reaction time to occupancy changes;

• Low energy consumption;

• Thermo experience of the room;
