• FormWhat something looks like

Design ThinkingAs a style of thinking, it is generally considered the ability to combine empathy for the context of a problem, creativity in the generation of insights and solutions, and rationality to analyze and fit solutions to the context.

Rule of Thirds

Originally used in the visual arts fields, the rule of thirds can be adapted to any design, design format or device.

The rule of thirds identifies four focal points within compositions to where the human eye is naturally attracted.By aligning elements on dividing lines or placing elements at these focal points, more consideration can be given to the most important elements on a page.

A Thought To Ponder

I was reading an article on bamagazine.com and was struck by something that has been bothering me for the past few years.

Our industry is no longer making masters. Change comes so fast that everyone is always just beginning.Skills and entire professions now run a 100-year life cycle inless than a decade.

No longer does one gain the wisdom or experience of years.
