Homemade LASAGNA

STEP #1 Gather Equipment

• Large mixing bowl or pan • 2” full hotel pan(s) (12” x 20” x 2”)• Measuring cups• Rubber spatula

STEP #2Gather Ingredients

• Ground Beef• Marinara Sauce• Lasagna Noodles• Cottage Cheese• Shredded Mozzarella

STEP #3

In a large mixing bowl or hotel pan combine the ground beef and marinara sauce. For each pan of lasagna combine 7.5 cups beef + 1 bag marinara.

STEP #4Spray pan(s) with pan release.

STEP #5For each pan, layer the ingredients as follows:

1st Layer: 4 cups sauce (beef and marinara)

2nd Layer: 7 uncooked noodles

3rd Layer: 4 cups sauce

4th Layer: 3 cups cottage cheese

5th Layer: 2 cups shredded mozzarella

6th Layer: 6 uncooked noodles

7th Layer: 4 cups sauce

8th Layer: 3 cups shredded mozzarella

STEP #6Spray aluminum foil with pan release.

Tightly cover the pan(s) with parchment paper then with aluminum foil.

STEP #7 Bake the lasagna at 191o Cfor 40 minutes or until the lasagna reaches 74oC

Carefully remove the pan from the oven and uncover. Continue baking for 5 minutes, uncovered, or until the surface of the lasagna is golden brown.
